  • On 17 and 18 October, the San Agustín de Guadalix campus hosted the latest Digital Summit, a meeting that once again demonstrated the Iberdrola group's commitment to the digital transformation.

    VIA is a start-up based in Boston that uses Artificial Intelligence and blockchain to help power companies prevent and predict equipment errors in the transformation and distribution of energy.

  • Atten2, a company in which Iberdrola has a stake and is linked with the Ika 4 Tekniker Research Centre, was one of the guests at Innoday 2018. Its CEO, Edgar Martínez, presented the innovative technology of its Oilwear sensor, which supplies key information for designing a predictive maintenance strategy.

  • At Iberdrola group we have begun a pilot project based on using blockchain to guarantee, in real time, that the energy supplied and consumed is 100% renewable. Using this technology, we have managed to link plants where electricity is produced to specific points of consumption, allowing the source of the energy to be traced. This increases transparency and ultimately encourages the use of renewable energy.

    MeteoFlow is a comprehensive system for predicting medium and long-term meteorological variables at all types of renewable facility. Entirely developed by Iberdrola Renovables, it is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary in 2019, and its latest goal is already clear: to predict sea conditions.
