A Iberdrola é pioneira em termos de energia renovável, sendo a maior operadora de energia eólica do mundo há mais de 20 anos. Dado o atual crescimento do mercado eólico offshore, a Iberdrola está bem posicionada como líder global. A energia eólica offshore tornou-se um vetor de crescimento líder para a Iberdrola, com ativos operacionais offshore (na atualidade) de 1,26 GW e um pipeline adicional de 9,6 GW tanto em desenvolvimento quanto em construção, cuja entrada em funcionamento será até 2027, graças a um investimento global de 30 bilhões de euros.
Descrição do desafio
Através do nosso programa de start-ups PERSEO, a Iberdrola está interessada em Veículos Aéreos Não Tripulados (UAVs) totalmente autônomos ou controlados de forma remota que ajudarão a otimizar a inspeção de nossos ativos offshore, com o foco especialmente (mas não limitado) na detecção de anomalias, falhas em pás e fundações de aerogeradores.
Ambientes offshore podem ser severos com condições climáticas extremas. A solução UAV deve suportar essas condições para otimizar as inspeções de manutenção, reduzindo custos, tempo e perigos para nossos funcionários.
As propostas para consideração podem incluir:

Veículos autônomos totalmente autônomos ou operados de forma remota (FASDVs ou ROVs).

Além da tecnologia Visual Line of Site (BVLOS).

Sistemas de inspeção para componentes de turbinas eólicas (pás, fundações, etc.).

Tempo de inatividade mínimo (as turbinas eólicas continuam funcionando, etc.).

Captura de imagens/vídeos e scanner das condições com análise de dados posteriormente (pacotes completos de inspeção, incluindo modelagem 3D / soluções de gêmeos digitais).

Preventive maintenance and in-situ repair if possible/needed.

Solutions that can address both inspections (above and below water) could be assessed.

O prêmio será um contrato de teste com a PERSEO ou outra empresa Iberdrola, que suportará o custo dessas atividades e fornecerá ao vencedor todo o suporte técnico necessário. A oportunidade de testar em um ambiente com dados reais para testar totalmente a solução, proporcionando acesso a equipamentos, equipes, infra-estrutura, locais de alta tecnologia e áreas de trabalho compartilhadas. O projeto será desenvolvido em colaboração com especialistas técnicos das áreas de negócios Iberdrola Renováveis e Offshore.
Se o teste ou teste do conceito for satisfatório, a Iberdrola poderá oferecer ao vencedor a oportunidade de ampliar a solução, adotando-a por meio de acordos comerciais. Além disso, a PERSEO considerará investir na empresa participante e/ou no vencedor do desafio.
O prazo para inscrições foi entre 17 de outubro e 14 de novembro 2022. O vencedor foi anunciado em janeiro de 2023.
