  • She has held the position of independent director at Neoenergia S.A., the country subholding company of the energy businesses in Brazil. While holding this position, she has obtained a first-hand understanding of the operation of the Iberdrola group and the main challenges and opportunities of the energy sector in a key market.
  • Ha sido consejera independiente y miembro de la comisión de auditoría de Companhia Distribuidora de Gás do Rio de Janeiro (CEG), cuya actividad principal es la distribución y comercialización de gas natural en el Estado de Rio de Janeiro (Brasil).

  • She has more than 30 years of experience in the domestic and international financial market.
  • In her capacity as CEO of RNA Capital, she has been directly involved in advising and/or consulting companies in the “utilities” sector, such as AEGEA Saneamento e Participações S.A., leading company in the water sanitation private sector in Brazil, and its concessionaire Águas do Rio.
  • She has been an independent board member of Cielo, S.A., coordinating president of its Risk Committee, its Sustainability Committee and its Governance Committee. She has been a member of the Risk and Capital Committee of Bank of Brasil, an independent director of IRB-Brasil Resseguros, S.A., chair coordinator of its Risk and Solvency Commitee and a member of its Investmens, Capital Structure and Dividend Committee. She was also a member of the advisory board of Mercado Eletrônico, a company dedicated to electronic B2B commerce.
  • She served for 20 years at S&P Global Ratings. She was president of operations in Brazil and Argentina, head for the Southern Cone of Latin America, co-head for Latin America and part of the group, head for Global Development Markets, as well as board member of BRC Ratings (Colombia), a rating agency affiliated to S&P Global Ratings in the country.
  • Before joining S&P, she also worked at other financial institutions such as Chase Manhattan and Citibank in the areas of credit and risk analysis. At the Commercial Bank of New York, she led the Correspondent Banking and Risk (Trade Finance) Areas focused on Latin America.
  • For three years, she was an independent consultant in Brazil, having worked on privatisation programmes, investments of
    international funds in the Brazilian market, M&A and financial engineering projects.
