Iberdrola Energía Internacional
Leadership in key markets
Iberdrola Energía Internacional is the Iberdrola Group's subsidiary in charge of consolidating its presence in key markets outside its main areas of operation. With an installed capacity of 4,933 MW at year-end 2025, the company drives the Group's international leadership and global growth in electricity.
At Iberdrola we have become an international benchmark in the energy sector thanks to an integrated growth strategy. Iberdrola Energía Internacional, S.A.U. is the Group’s subsidiary that develops activities outside the countries where the other subholding companies operate – that is, in countries other than Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil and Mexico. The Group therefore plans to invest up to €5 billion in its existing business in the European Union and Australia, further strengthening these markets.
