Iberdrola Italia, the Iberdrola Group’s subsidiary in Italy, has begun supplying renewable electricity to Pam Panorama, one of the country’s leading retail groups, under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed by the two companies.
The 10-year agreement provides for the supply of 1,000 GWh of certified renewable electricity to Pam Panorama’s retail network. The electricity will be generated by Iberdrola Fenix, the company’s largestsolar plant in Italy.
The agreement will avoid more than 38,300 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of around 40,300 households.
The project further strengthens Iberdrola’s position in Italy, a strategic market for the development of competitive, traceable, long-term renewable energy solutions that support the electrification.
