Iberdrola España exceeds 11,000 public charging points in operation

Iberdrola España, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Spain, has surpassed 11,000 operational charging points in the country. Over the last year, it has brought more than 2,500 points into operation, representing growth of 25% in 2025. The company now accounts for 22% of the available public infrastructure, reinforcing its leadership and consolidating its position as the most extensive charging network in the country. 

All Iberdrola España's charging points are powered by 100% green energy from renewable sources with a guarantee of origin (GdOS). In this way, in addition to promoting the advancement of mobility electrification in the country, it is contributing to the transition towards a more efficient, emission-free economy that is independent of fossil fuels.

Furthermore, to facilitate access to its infrastructure, Iberdrola España also has its own mobility app, the highest rated in the sector, which allows users to locate nearby charging points, check their status in real time, reserve a point and start charging with any payment method.
