Iberdrola España supports Grupo Disfrimur throughout the entire process, from identifying energy-saving opportunities to certification and monetisation.
Iberdrola España, the Group's subsidiary in Spain, and Grupo Disfrimur are moving forward with their decarbonisation and electrification strategy under the framework of the agreement reached between the two companies to commercialise their Energy Saving Certificates (CAE).
Through this alliance, the logistics company has implemented various energy efficiency measures that Iberdrola España converts into financial savings through the CAE system.
Among the measures implemented by Grupo Disfrimur, its transition towards sustainable mobility stands out, with the incorporation of more than 40 electric vehicles into its fleet between 2023 and 2025. This decision has been supported by Iberdrola España, which has helped monetise the first 2.2 GWh of savings, in order to further promote Disfrimur’s efficiency and sustainability strategy.
