Scotland’s utilities announce £46 billion investment in key infrastructure at ScottishPower headquarters

ScottishPower’s headquarters in Glasgow hosted the presentation of a joint declaration of intent by Scotland’s utilities to invest £46 billion (over €53.3 billion) in key infrastructure over the next five years.

This record investment programme in energy, water and digital infrastructure will deliver wide-ranging benefits to communities, including job creation, strengthening of the business ecosystem, environmental protection, and the promotion of economic and social development.

The four companies have reaffirmed their commitment to identifying coordination opportunities and ensuring that the programme delivers the greatest possible benefit to individuals, communities and the wider economy.
