ScottishPower Renewables completes first onshore apprentices course

ScottishPower Renewables, Iberdrola Group’s renewable energy subsidiary in the United Kingdom, celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of its vocational training course for onshore wind turbine technicians, demonstrating its commitment to people.

The four-year programme begins with three months at university, followed by six months of intensive training at the ScottishPower training centre, and then in-the-field practical experience.

These apprenticeship programmes are designed to provide young people with the tools, experience and support they need to grow in the power industry. It’s about building careers, shaping futures and creating a workforce ready to lead the transition to net zero.
