Global Reporting Initiative. The top global standard for preparing sustainability reports in those companies that wish to assess their economic, environmental and social performance. Its aim is to enhance quality in the preparation of sustainability reports and put them at the same level as financial reports in terms of comparability, rigour, credibility, regularity and verifiability. To do so, it relies on the active participation of representatives from organisations involved in human rights, labour rights, research, the environment, etc.
