Avangrid and Tyba complete pilot to drive battery energy storage systems

Avangrid, Iberdrola Group's US subsidiary, has successfully completed a strategic pilot with Tyba, an energy analysis and optimisation platform, to improve its battery energy storage systems’ (BESS) modelling and identify potential locations to set up storage infrastructure in the US.

This initiative is designed to support the evaluation of standalone and hybrid storage assets, improve revenue forecasting and strengthen internal expertise in the dynamic American energy storage landscape.

Avangrid is constantly assessing opportunities to meet its customers' needs by including energy storage in future projects as a key component of its comprehensive and cost-effective energy solutions.
