Avangrid organises its 4th annual Energy Innovation Hackathon

Avangrid, the US subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group, has held its 4th annual Energy Innovation Hackathon, demonstrating its commitment to talent as the company's foundation. This year brought together 181 students from 16 universities across the country, demonstrating Avangrid's growing confidence in attracting innovative talent nationwide.

The uptick in participation compared to previous years reinforces a fundamental belief the company has: talent thrives where opportunity exists, where innovation has a real impact, and where Avangrid listens to and empowers talent across the United States.

A panel of ten experts from different areas within Avangrid served as judges for the competition.
