Avangrid receives three Telly Awards for telling stories that connect energy to the community

Avangrid, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in the United States, was recognised, last June, with three Telly Awards 2026, one of the most prestigious awards in the audiovisual and television industry.

The award-winning pieces reflect Avangrid's commitment to close, story-based communication, focused on people, communities and innovation. The recognised productions were “Empowered: Klamath Falls”, in the branded content and corporate image campaign category; “Small Business, Main Street: Duffy's”, in social video and general branding; and “United Illuminating Grill Talk”, in local television within the energy and utilities field.

These productions highlight Avangrid's commitment to the communities in which it operates, its support for local businesses, and the importance of building trust and transparency through communication. They also reinforce the company's purpose of supplying safe and sustainable energy across the 24 US states in which it operates, drawing on innovation, investment in networks and the development of new generation projects.

This recognition underlines the Iberdrola Group's ability to use its subsidiaries to tell stories that connect energy activity with economic development, the daily life of communities and the transition to a more sustainable energy model.
