Avangrid recognised as a leading employer for military personnel and veterans in the United States

Avangrid, Iberdrola Group's US subsidiary, was recognised in July as a Military Friendly Employer 2026, an award that highlights organisations committed to recruiting, developing and supporting serving military personnel, veterans and their families.

The recognition acknowledges Avangrid's policies and programmes to attract, develop and retain talent from the military community, fostering an inclusive workplace where the skills gained through military service – such as leadership, teamwork and adaptability – help drive growth and create value in the communities where the company operates.

The award comes as the United States marks its 250th anniversary and recognises the company's initiatives to support the transition of service members into civilian careers.
