Iberdrola installs more than 100 charging points a day in Spain

Iberdrola España, Iberdrola Group’s subsidiary in Spain, continues to accelerate the rollout of infrastructure to support electric mobility and is now installing more than 100 charging points every day across homes, businesses and public spaces.

This growth has enabled the energy company to reach more than 85,000 chargers installed in the private sector, including private homes and businesses. These are complemented by more than 12,000 public charging points. This brings the total number of charging points installed to more than 97,000, strengthening an infrastructure that meets the needs of drivers both at home and at work and while travelling.

Iberdrola España alone is responsible for installing one in every five chargers in the country and supplying them with energy. Its operations support more than 100 installation companies and over 1,000 professionals, further demonstrating how the electrification of mobility is driving economic development and creating jobs in the technology and industrial sectors.
