Iberdrola launches Carbon2Nature Australia at Talia Station

Iberdrola Australia, Iberdrola's international business in Australia,  has presented its first carbon removal project: a 688-hectare reforestation and biodiversity project on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, through Carbon2Nature Australia

Carbon2Nature Australia is the Australian subsidiary of Carbon2Nature — the Iberdrola Group company specialising in nature-based solutions, which already operates in Spain, Mexico and Brazil — and a joint venture with Iberdrola Australia. Carbon2Nature supports Iberdrola's global commitment to biodiversity, integrating ecosystem restoration into our decarbonisation strategy.

The restoration of Talia Station aims to recover the native grassland forest with Allocasuarina verticillata, commonly known as Drooping Sheoak provide measurable benefits for biodiversity and culture, and build long-term ecological resilience in partnership with Traditional Owners.
