Iberdrola reinforces its commitment to digital accessibility with new certification for its corporate website in Spain

Iberdrola España, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Spain, has strengthened its commitment to a more inclusive digital experience after receiving the web accessibility seal awarded by TOTHOMweb, an ENAC-accredited body.

The certification, based on the UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard, recognises compliance with digital accessibility requirements aligned with European regulations and validates the progress made in ensuring content is accessible to all users.

The certification acknowledges both the work carried out on Iberdrola España’s corporate website to create clearer, more intuitive and user-friendly digital environments for people with different access needs, including users with disabilities, and the shared design system that underpins the corporate websites of the Iberdrola Group’s subholding companies.

This common framework makes it possible to develop and maintain a wide range of digital assets using consistent accessibility, coherence and scalability criteria, helping extend best practices across the Group’s entire digital ecosystem.

Through initiatives such as this, Iberdrola continues to advance responsible and inclusive digitalisation, in line with its commitment to diversity, innovation and the continuous improvement of the user experience.
