Iberdrola strengthens its commitment to employee mental health and wellbeing in the United States

Avangrid, the Iberdrola Group’s US subsidiary, has been awarded the Platinum Bell Seal for the second consecutive year—the highest distinction granted by Mental Health America to organisations demonstrating an exceptional commitment to employee mental health and wellbeing. 

The award recognises organisations that embed mental health into their workplace culture through policies, programmes and practices that promote emotional wellbeing. Avangrid was particularly recognised for its holistic approach to employee wellbeing and the range of benefits it provides to support the mental health of its workforce. 

Among the initiatives highlighted are employee wellbeing resources, assistance programmes, healthcare benefits and work-life balance measures, including paid leave.  

The recognition further reflects the Iberdrola Group’s commitment to creating healthy, inclusive workplaces that support the wellbeing and development of its people.
