Iberdrola will distribute a supplementary dividend of €0.409 per share in July, up 16.5%

  • Iberdrola will distribute €0.409 per share to its shareholders as a supplementary dividend against 2024 results, in accordance with the terms of the new edition of the ‘Iberdrola Flexible Remuneration’ system announced today by the company to the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV)
  • The number of rights required to receive one new share is 39.
  • This amount is in addition to the €0.231 gross per share already paid in January as an interim dividend.
  • Investors have also received €0.005 per share as an engagement dividend, as the quorum for the General Shareholders' Meeting exceeded 70%.
  • Total shareholder remuneration for 2024 stands at €0.645 gross per share, 15.6% more than in the previous year
  • Iberdrola is ahead of schedule in meeting its commitment to establish a dividend of between €0.61 and €0.66 per share in 2026
  • Iberdrola shareholders will receive one subscription right for each share they hold
  • Investors will have three options: to receive the amount corresponding to their supplementary dividend (€0.409 gross per share) in cash; to sell their rights on the market; or to obtain new bonus shares from the group free of charge. These three options are not mutually exclusive, so shareholders can choose one of the alternatives or combine them according to their preferences.
