Neoenergia and the Ministry of Culture (MinC) to invest nearly one million euros in cultural projects

Neoenergia, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Brazil, and the Ministry of Culture (MinC) have launched the Rouanet programme, which will invest nearly one million euros (6 million reais) in cultural projects with the aim of expanding access to cultural funding in regions historically less reached by the Rouanet Law.

The programme will support at least 30 cultural initiatives and aims to strengthen artistic and cultural production beyond major urban centres, while promoting cultural activities and initiatives in smaller cities.

This partnership promotes local identities and creates opportunities for the communities that need them most, strengthening Brazil’s cultural diversity and broadening access to culture.
