Neoenergia opens applications for 2026 for its ‘Energy Culture Caravan’ training programme

Neoenergia, a subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Brazil, opened applications on 13 April for the 2026 edition of its Energy Culture Caravan, an initiative that offers free training activities focused on expanding access to professional development opportunities beyond major urban centres..

Developed by the Neoenergia Institute in partnership with Cultura e Mercado and implemented under the Rouanet Law, the project reinforces the Group’s social commitment in Brazil by promoting the decentralisation of cultural resources and strengthening local creative production.

After reaching 790 people in 2024 and 2025 through 224 hours of training, the 2026 edition will expand its geographical reach and complete the training programme by offering courses, mentoring sessions and workshops focused on project management and project development, access to funding mechanisms and public policies, professional development, communication and innovation.

In 2026, in-person sessions are planned in 10 cities across these regions, linked to the areas where Neoenergia operates electricity networks.
