ScottishPower contracts three new vessels to build East Anglia Three

ScottishPower Renewables, the Iberdrola Group’s renewable subsidiary in the UK, has signed agreements worth almost €19 M with two Norfolk-based maritime companies, NR Marine Services and OEG, to supply three vessels to support construction of its East Anglia Three offshore wind farm in British North Sea waters.

The three new vessels will operate from the port of Lowestoft, located in the coastal region of East Anglia, where ScottishPower is developing some of biggest offshore wind projects in the world and where the company has an important offshore operations and maintenance base.

NR Marine Services will provide two crew transport vessels, the NR Rebellion and the NR Hunter. OEG will provide the support vessel Tess for surveillance operations. Thanks to its design and capabilities, it can remain at sea for longer periods, making it the perfect choice for East Anglia Three.
