We are looking for students to work with us to develop a sustainable energy model

The Iberdrola Alumni Program allows students to take an active role in the company's processes and projects, experience the world of work and develop new skills and abilities to drive their future career.

The Iberdrola group has developed the Alumni Program, an initiative that allows students to learn in different business areas of the group in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, the United Kingdom and Germany, among other countries. The goal is for students to take on challenges and learn from our professionals.

To do this, Iberdrola is offering a total of 250 internships distributed as follows:

  • 125 internships for undergraduates in Engineering degree programs.
  • 60 internships for undergraduates in Economics and Business Administration degree programs.
  • 15 internships for undergraduates in other degree programs.
  • 50 internships for people taking advanced Vocational Training courses related with energy and business administration.

In addition to receiving continuing training and learning, the Alumni Program interns will be able to take part in national and international hackathons, attend professional lectures, visit group facilities, contribute ideas for innovating and improving company services, participate in networking and complete a variety of activities.

Our internships are targeted at students who are currently registered for a course and have at least 50% of the credits required to graduate. Internships last for six months (from February to July) in the mornings (from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm).

To apply for an internship, just go to our Careers Site, to Job Opportunities and register for the 'Iberdrola Alumni Program'. The past round of applications was open from November 2019 to January 2020. Keep an eye on our website!
