The young entrepreneurs initiative focuses on developing talent and entrepreneurship among students at Iberdrola U. The purpose is to provide them with tools that will help them to develop their entrepreneurial skills in areas related to the energy transition.

Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT)
Iberdrola sponsors the MIT Energy & Climate Club, supporting events such as Energy Night and the Energy Conference. Through speakers and mentors, the company connects university innovation with the global energy industry.
Initiatives with MITThe Pontifical Comillas University ICAI
Iberdrola participates in the Comillas Emprende initiative, which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship among students through training and mentoring. Iberdrola also supports the ISC Racing Team, which competes internationally with 100% electric prototypes designed by students.

We collaborate with the University of Salamanca on projects such as Startup Olé, an event that connects university talent with companies to promote innovative projects focused on the future of energy.
Iniciatives with University of SalamancaPolytechnic University of Madrid
Iberdrola is participating in the challenge to reuse wind turbine blades, which aims to design circular business models that give these materials a second life. This initiative, developed in collaboration with students and companies, is now in its third edition and has established itself as a benchmark in the circular economy.
Neoenergia Talents of the Future
This programme, promoted by Neoenergia, encourages collaboration with Brazilian universities and rewards innovative solutions for the energy sector. In its first three editions, 257 applications were received and 75 students from more than 65 universities participated.
Technological Institute of Monterrey
During Innovation Week organised by Iberdrola Mexico, the Hackathon Challenge 2024 was held, with more than 150 students developing proposals such as portable solar systems and storage solutions using reused batteries.
