Iberdrola has become the world's first electricity company to achieve ISO 45003 certification, the international standard that provides guidelines for managing psychological health and safety at work. The certification was awarded following an independent assessment by LRQA, one of the world's leading certification, inspection and assurance providers.

Designed to complement ISO 45001, the international benchmark for occupational health and safety management systems, ISO 45003 promotes safe and healthy workplaces by addressing psychological and emotional wellbeing alongside physical safety. It covers areas such as stress management, workload, organisational culture and work-life balance.

With this certification, awarded following an independent audit and assessment, Iberdrola ranks among the world's most advanced companies in the management of psycho-emotional wellbeing by integrating people's psychological health and safety into a global, structured system that has been externally assessed.
