Iberdrola's Executive Chairman Ignacio Galán has warned of the critical need to expand and modernise electricity grids on a global scale in order to respond to the rapid growth in demand from data centres, industry and the electrification of the economy. He made these comments in an interview with The Wall Street Journal during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

El presidente de Iberdrola, Ignacio Galán, ha advertido de la necesidad crítica de ampliar y modernizar las redes eléctricas a escala global para poder responder al rápido crecimiento de la demanda derivada de los centros de datos, la industria y la electrificación de la economía.
