Ignacio Galán attends the opening of WindEurope 2026, with Iberdrola acting as ambassador for Europe’s largest wind energy event

During the opening of WindEurope in Madrid today, Iberdrola’s Chairman, Ignacio Galán, welcomed the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, and Third Deputy Prime Minister Sara Aagesen to the company’s stand. He also held meetings with various officials, including the European Commissioner for Energy, Dan Jorgensen; the UK Secretary of State for Energy, Michael Shanks; and Ireland’s Minister for Marine Affairs, Timmy Dooley.
