Participation for Ultimate Beneficial Owners
Iberdrola enables ultimate beneficial owners to exercise their voting rights prior to the General Meeting, collect the commemorative gift, participate in the prize draw and attend the General Meeting.
Ultimate beneficial owners or “real holders” of Iberdrola’s shares are deemed to be the persons on whose behalf the intermediary entity legitimized as shareholder in the book-entry register acts, whether it’s directly or through a chain of intermediaries.
To promote their engagement, Iberdrola hands to ultimate beneficial owners who are natural persons the same participation channels enabled for shareholders, once provided that the corresponding intermediary entities have granted them representation for this General Meeting and have supplied the Company with the corresponding identification details for this purpose.
Once these conditions are met, ultimate beneficial owners will be able to collect the commemorative gift at the service points and participate in the prize draw.
