Avangrid reaffirms its commitment to Artificial Intelligence at its fifth Digital Summit

Avangrid, the US subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group, has held its fifth Digital Summit, under the slogan ‘Unlocking AI’, to showcase the cutting-edge tools that are driving innovation in customer service, operations, smart grids and energy production.

Over two days, representatives from Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Convey, Deloitte, ESRI, EY, Hitachi Energy, IBM, Iberdrola Innovation Middle East, Microsoft, NTT Data, SAP, Schneider Electric and Wipro took part in demonstration sessions to present their most innovative digital products and services. These solutions, which incorporate technologies such as advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics, were analysed to solve challenges in the energy sector, with a focus on customer service, smart grids and energy production.
