The Iberdrola Music Festival brought together more than 35,000 people in Madrid for over seven hours of concerts, in a major celebration to mark the company’s 125th anniversary.
Europe’s largest sustainable venue dedicated to leisure and culture —Iberdrola Music— came alive to the sound of leading national and international artists. In order of appearance, Lola Bozzano, Álvaro de Luna, Ana Mena, Manuel Carrasco and Lenny Kravitz took part in a day defined by their connection with the audience in a festive and engaging atmosphere.
Cristina Boscá, director and co-presenter of the LOS40 Principales programme Anda Ya, introduced the festival and each performance, while David Álvarez, also a presenter and DJ at the station, kept the audience entertained with his music sets.
Throughout the festival, attendees were also able to enjoy a range of entertainment activities.
The event had a strong charitable dimension, as ticket purchases helped support social projects run by five non-profit organisations: the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Action Against Hunger, Fundación Tu Techo, Betania and Fundación Integra.
A major celebration across Spain
The Iberdrola Music Festival in Madrid has become one of the main highlights of the “125 light-years” programme, through which the company is celebrating its anniversary throughout 2026 in different locations across Spain.
The event continues the spirit of the celebration held on 12 June in Bilbao, where nearly 40,000 people enjoyed performances by Juanes, Antonio Orozco, Rigoberta Bandini and Süne, culminating in the largest drone show ever staged in Spain to date, powered by 100% renewable energy.
Following Bilbao and Madrid, the music programme will arrive in Valencia on 28 November, with Estopa and Mafalda Cardenal.
The “125 light-years” calendar also includes exhibitions, social events and the illumination of landmark buildings, with the aim of bringing society closer to a journey defined by innovation, commitment to people and the drive for development through electrification, as well as Iberdrola’s vision for the future and its bond with the communities in which it operates.
