Neoenergia, subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group in Brazil, has launched a new electrical safety awareness campaign to coincide with the São João festivities, one of the country’s most significant popular celebrations.
The initiative, featuring the singer Alceu Valença, reinforces the company’s commitment to accident prevention and raising public awareness, once again using music as a tool to convey messages more effectively.
Under the slogan ‘Seja Inimigo do Fim’, the campaign aims to inform the public on how to enjoy these festivities safely, avoiding risky behaviour around the electricity grid.
The campaign will be rolled out across the distribution areas where Neoenergia operates, with a particular focus on north-eastern Brazil, where these celebrations hold special cultural significance, reaching around 17 million customers across Neoenergia’s five distribution companies in the country.
Through this initiative, Neoenergia reinforces its commitment to safety as a key priority of its operations and to providing useful, preventative communication that is aligned with the needs of the communities it serves. The campaign also forms part of the ‘Mais para você’ (More for you) concept, through which the company fosters a closer relationship with its customers and demonstrates its commitment to a safe and high-quality supply.
