Iberdrola reaffirms its commitment to culture through its support for the Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival

Iberdrola España, subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group's in Spain, is reaffirming its commitment to culture and the preservation of artistic heritage by renewing its partnership with the Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival, one of Spain's leading theatre events.

Running from 2 to 26 July, the festival's 49th edition will once again transform Almagro into one of the summer's premier cultural destinations, with a programme dedicated to celebrating and reinterpreting the legacy of Spain's Golden Age theatre.

Iberdrola will once again have a prominent presence at Espacio Áurea, located in the former Renaissance University, one of the festival's most distinctive venues. The space attracted 6,576 spectators during last year's edition and will host a programme this year featuring productions that blend theatre, music and dance with classical tradition and contemporary artistic perspectives.

Iberdrola's support for the Almagro Festival reflects its broader commitment to promoting cultural initiatives that preserve, celebrate and enhance Spain's historical and artistic heritage. Through the Iberdrola España Foundation, the company develops projects aimed at conserving and showcasing cultural assets, including its Lighting Programme, which enhances landmark buildings through carefully designed interior and exterior architectural lighting.
