Encouraging young entrepreneurs and technological innovation among students
The young entrepreneurs initiative focuses on developing talent and entrepreneurship among students at Iberdrola U. The purpose is to provide them with tools that will help them to develop their entrepreneurial skills in areas related to the energy transition.

The Massachussets Institute of Technology
Iberdrola collaborates with MIT on two MIT Sandbox and MIT Energy Club initiatives to put qualified students in contact and enable connections between the private, public and academic sectors to make an impact on the energy industry.

The Pontifical Comillas University - ICAI
The Pontifical Comillas University - ICAI is collaborating with Iberdrola on a number of initiatives such as StartCamp, Comillas Emprende and the ICAI Speed Club to drive and develop innovative business models to meet the challenges facing the energy sector.

The Tecnológico de Monterrey
Iberdrola collaborates with the Tecnológico de Monterrey in the Energy Business Model Challenge, an initiative to develop entrepreneurial skills among students.

The University of Strathclyde
The ScottishPower - Iberdrola Entrepreneurial Challenge, includes 15 projects in total: an initiative that shapes innovative ideas, in collaboration with the Strathclyde Business School Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship.

The University of Salamanca
The company is collaborating with the University of Salamanca on projects like Emprende Salamanca, Energy Hackathon and Startup Olé to train students and encourage entrepreneurship in the framework of the development of the energy companies of the future.

Other initiatives
Convinced of the importance of encouraging young people to take an interest in research, innovation, science and technology, Iberdrola collaborates with the Fundación San Patricio in the Investiga R&D program, seeking to motivate them to pursue research by allowing them to choose this option in their baccalaureate courses and guiding them towards their future university studies. The company also collaborates with the Youth Speak Forum, an initiative that allows young people to debate with experts, organisations and companies on the subject of climate change.
