A review of recent COP held by the United Nations
Conferences of the Parties, better known as COPs, are high-level meetings organised by the United Nations that bring together states, regional organisations and non-state actors. Although there are three types of conferences addressing different environmental challenges, the best known are those on climate change. COP27, the last one held, followed in the footsteps of its predecessors by putting the climate emergency on the international agenda. COP26 PARIS
We push for climate action at COP 26 to meet the Paris Agreement goals
COP26 —held in Glasgow (UK) from 31 October to 12 November 2021— brought together representatives of some 200 governments with the aim of accelerating climate action to implement the Paris Agreement.

COP25 MADRID
COP25 looked at how to limit global temperature rise to below 1.5°C
COP25 was held in Madrid, under the presidency of Chile, from 2 to 13 December and focused on climate and energy scenarios that contribute to limiting the global temperature increase to below 1.5°C.

COP24 was held in the Polish city of Katowice from 2 to 14 December 2018. This Summit has been key to designing the instruments to effectively and efficiently address the fulfilment of climate goals.
