Only 25 % of the energy used in the world currently is electricity, and less than half of that electricity comes from renewable sources. Green production is advancing steadily, but its growth rate is slow when considering the consequences of increasingly evident climate change.
The concept that we need to promote renewable energy to achieve an electrified model is globally recognised, but it has not always been given the priority needed to drive it forward. That’s according to Ignacio Galán, the Executive Chairman of Iberdrola. Despite this, Iberdrola stands out for its ability to launch major projects that address the needs of each area in which it operates, thanks to careful planning and the continuous development of its human talent.
