Foro La Toja - Vínculo Atlántico is a leading forum for dialogue and reflection on the major challenges of the present and the future. Iberdrola is once again taking part in this annual event, which in 2026 will be held from 1 to 3 October on the island of La Toja (A Toxa), in northern Spain, to share knowledge, listen to different perspectives and contribute to an essential conversation about the future of our economy and society.
The future presents major challenges, but also new opportunities to transform our economy and society. Addressing them requires vision, collaboration and dialogue among those who, from different fields, have the capacity to drive change and turn ideas into tangible progress. Foro La Toja - Vínculo Atlántico provides a space to talk, debate, connect and draw conclusions from different voices and fields, helping to move towards a more sustainable and competitive future.
What is Foro La Toja - Vínculo Atlántico?
Foro La Toja - Vínculo Atlántico is an annual gathering that brings together representatives from the political, business, academic and civil society spheres on the island of La Toja (A Toxa) to address the main economic, social and institutional challenges of our time. Since it was established in 2019, the Forum has become a space for dialogue and the exchange of ideas, with a focus on the links between Europe, Spain, Portugal and the wider Atlantic community.
Foro La Toja - Vínculo Atlántico 2026: dates and key facts

Dates: 1 to 3 October 2026.
Location: La Toja Island (A Toxa), in O Grove, Galicia.
Participants: Each edition brings together political, institutional, business and academic leaders, alongside experts and representatives from other fields.
Objective: To promote dialogue and the exchange of ideas on the main economic, political, social and international challenges, with a particular focus on democracy, international cooperation and the ties between Europe and the Atlantic community.
2026 theme: “A world in disorder”. Against a backdrop of uncertainty and challenges – where geopolitical conflicts, global economic uncertainty and the development of technologies such as artificial intelligence are shaping the agenda – the Forum aims to provide clarity and effective solutions.
The event offers an “open, pluralistic and independent” perspective to promote ideas that strengthen democracy, foster international cooperation and help build common responses in a changing world.
