At Iberdrola, we are global energy leaders, with a presence in more than 30 countries and thousands of employees around the world. Operating on this scale requires a high level of management responsibility and a strong commitment to creating environments that allow for progress based on innovation, coexistence, and shared knowledge.
We were two decades ahead of the energy transition to become one of the leading companies in the sector worldwide. But, according to the Executive Chairman of Iberdrola, Ignacio Galán, to achieve this transformation it has been essential to believe in what we were doing –to transmit the confidence and conviction that a sustainable future was possible. "Working with truth is crucial," he says. For Galán, fairness, a sense of solidarity and the ability to team building are fundamental to building any project, as well as bearing in mind that the most important value of a company is the human being.
In this episode of The Kipling Balance podcast produced by IE University, hosted by IE University International Advisory Board Chairman Pablo Isla, he talks to Ignacio Galán about leadership, energy transition, business values and talent management.
